Tempted

9/29/19

Where has the band Squeeze been all my life?

I texted my brother who has been an ardent fan for probably 30 years asking the same question.

"Right in front of my stupid face" was the answer.  Not literally his answer, my thought.

But I've been missing out on a fantastic musical group for a long, long time.

I guess to make it interesting I'm gonna post the screenshot of my conversation with my brother, cause I got nothing else.

And speaking of the one "overplayed hit" here it is, and it was stuck in my head.

"Tempted" from Squeeze's 1981 album "East Side Story" with the accompanying music video.  Enjoy!

Thanks for reading.

Pulling Mussels from the Shell

4/28/2019

I suppose getting this song in my head is a call to action.  I've been wanting to listen to Squeeze's music for some time, but have always put other things in front of it.

Here's "Pulling Mussels from the Shell" from Squeeze's 1980 album Argybargy.  It's so dang good.

This song has given me enough to have a new collection of pop songs for a new playlist.  Woot.

Here's where you can find it on Spotify.  It's pretty good I guess.

Have a neat, neat, neat time, my friends.
