Baby's in Black

Dear Friends.

I like the Beatles. 

This blog post will be talking about one of their songs.

The song is called "Baby's in Black"

This song is from the 1964 album, Beatles for Sale. 

 

Things that are neat about this song:

 

1)  It was one of the first Beatles' songs to have a sadder tone.

 

2)  It was one of the first Beatles' songs to use a 6/8 timing and have more of a bluesy sound.

 

3)   Paul and John both sing on this song.  When Paul McCartney was asked who has the melody, he said that both of them did. 

 

4)  It was stuck in my head this morning. 

 

I'm afraid that my 7 year old daughter wants to use the computer now, so I must go.  But I was pretty much done anyway.
